ALTURA
Sitting right off Broadway in Capitol Hill this modern take on Italian cuisine has a unique charm that was such a joy to capture. All the art came from the Chef Nathan's grandfather's collection, including the angel looking over the restaurant.
CORELLO
The sister restaurant to Altura sits just across the street and while it holds some of the familiar rustic charm, presents a completely separate yet similarly exquisite experience on the palate. One of the more fun venues I've shot in and with food that tastes just as good as it looks (which we all know is not always the case).
THE PLUM DANISH
Saint Bread started out as a job to get me by while I got my footing in Seattle, but quickly turned into a place I found comfort in through all the warm hearted people working here and the beautiful creations they are responsible for.
WHISK YOU A MERRY BAKEMAS
Come Christmas time Saint Bread puts together a unique selection of cookies with a Japanese twist. I witnessed many of the bakers working late into the night handcrafting each cookie. While there wasn't a cookie left in my box, I must say the black sesame butter cookie with homemade raspberry jam was one you wouldn't want to miss.
DINNER ON THE DECKS
Each month in the summer season Chef Zach and sous chef Mckenna put together a chef's tasting menu event. Five courses, paired with wines selected by our wine specialist Kimberly, and topped with a dessert specially made by the head baker Bryan. Here is a glimpse of one of the first dinners enjoyed on the waterfront patio that was shot and edited by myself.

A few years ago my buddy David and I started hauling watermelons up mountains to make Watermelon First Ascents. Not only do they serve as great training weight but they're also the sweetest victory snack at the top:)
SPOONER BERRY FARMS ft. GRATEFUL BREAD BAGUETTE
The line for the Spooner Berry Farm stand is down the block.... all morning. Well, I finally got a hold of a pint and now I understand why they always have a line. Paired with a baguette from Grateful Bread, my morning was complete. So much so that I thought I'd put together a photoshoot out of it.
I must confess that the flowers are weeds that I cut out of my driveway.
